Eta squared

Eta squared (R²), or omega squared (W²), are the indexes (predetermined scales) that are used to measure the effect size of an ANOVA.

The formula to find the ANOVA`s eta squared value:

(SS_BG is the between groups Sum of Squares and the SS_Total is the total Sum of Squares from the ANOVA)
